Budget 2017: AU$12m for in-train Wi-Fi and mobile coverage

The Australian government will provide AU$12 million over three years to improve Wi-Fi and mobile coverage across the Hornsby and Wyong train routes in NSW.

  1. $12 million…. for 2 train lines? Who’s bidding on this?! better yet, Who’s passing it? Give a progressive startup the funds and you’ll see how $12 million can upgrade the entire wifi grid in Melbourne for instance!
